    I wouldn't exactly say that was feeble, Alastair. Although Roman does do some pretty badass stuff.

    The enormous waterfall/cascades section just after the icefield is incredible. Alastair, have you posted an annotated map of the route?

    It'd be nice to see one here; http://www.alastairhumphreys.com/adventures/transiceland/

    This looks like it has the potential to become a classic European packrafting trip, something Americans for instance (even Alaskans) might head over to do.
