It looks like a fantastic trip, something I'd love to try. After seeing photos of Wrangell-St. Elias NP I am in love with it, and hope to be able to go for a trip there in the future! Thanks for sharing =)
Does the National Geographic Topo! software -- I think that's what you are using for this -- take into account elevation changes in its distance measurements?
I've always wondered and thought I might be shortchanged going up the steep stuff. Wonderful trail & river descriptions in your guidebook!
