But eventually I decided to give Lion a try (based on this guy's experience: http://wsrphoto.blogspot.com/2011/10/going-to-lion.html ) and TOPO! works just fine, at least for the stuff I want it to do. I've been using it for about a month now. The GINA solution is great too. I've used some of their other data layers, but I didn't realize they have USGS topos. I'll have to check that out.Coryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11053022469575768263noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5095331523579939357.post-60706412856371757572012-04-30T08:58:51.922-08:002012-04-30T08:58:51.922-08:00I am glad you are finding that useful. We have a newer version of this that includes topo maps for Canada and has a hill shading applied so it looks more TOPO! like, but for some reason it is not showing up on the kml.gina.alaska.edu site yet..spruceboyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03599034480198063733noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5095331523579939357.post-91908007706253839142012-04-30T08:04:29.356-08:002012-04-30T08:04:29.356-08:00I'll check into that link, but wanted to menti...I'll check into that link, but wanted to mention that I've been running TOPO! just fine on my Mac since last July. I have 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard) if that somehow matters.

Perhaps it's new TOPO! software that you need?MChttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02002777916876297706noreply@blogger.com
